2012: Bigger & Better

Bike & Build's Capital Ride, now back for its fourth summer, is bigger and better than ever before. With exciting new changes and a variety of new participants, as well as a number of returning alumni riders, this trip is sure to be memorable.

B&B's 10th Anniversary. This will be our 10th summer of programming, and our anniversary celebration has been scheduled to coincide with the Capital Ride's arrival in Philadelphia. This is going to be the BIGGEST Bike & Build event ever, and Capital Ride participants are going to be a large part of it.
Incentives to recruit your friends. Each person you recruit earns you $100, and each person they recruit earns you $50.
Get a Bike. The option to fundraise extra to get an official Bike & Build bike that is yours to keep after the trip is over.

Skip the 2013 Lottery - 2012 Cap Riders automatically bypass the lottery for 2013 cross country trips.

2012 Capital Ride specific brochure have been completed and sent off to the printer. Hardcopies will be sent out to enrolled riders once we receive them in the office. A full quality PDF download of the brochure is available online (pdf, 7.1MB) - print this out to recruit friends, solicit donations and help spread the word about this great trip.

Capital Ride & 10th Anniversary

2012 is a special year for Bike & Build as it will be our 10th summer of trips! To celebrate this achievement we've scheduled the Capital Ride to arrive in Philadelphia for the weekend of our 10th anniversary celebration, July 21-22nd. More details are still forthcoming, but rest assured that this is going to be the BIGGEST event Bike & Build has ever put on and Capital Ride participants are going to be an integral part of it!

2012 Capital Riders Skip Lottery for 2013 Cross Country Rides

Thinking about doing a full cross country Bike & Build trip but want to get your feet wet with the Capital Ride first? Anybody that takes part in the 2012 Capital Ride will be able to skip the lottery for spots on next year's cross country routes.
